PATRICK McDOWELL is a London based designer captivating the fashion industry.

McDowell works with a collection of brand partners annually, offering circular solutions that centre systemic change and education. Offering those brands and their teams the tools they need to create meaningful lasting change through ‘Reimagine’ collections that save and monetise dead stock fabrics and clothing.

Sustainability is at the core of Patrick’s practice, as he strives to reinvent luxury through a sustainable mindset. Crafted from reclaimed fabrics, and ethically produced materials from the likes of Burberry and Swarovski, his pieces are designed and made with a low carbon foot print in mind. He is a strong advocate for reducing fashion’s global impact through designing with moral practice.

Patrick is a passionate advocate and supporter of creative education. He is committed to highlighting the importance of this kind of learning for all, at any age across all sectors. With a belief that it is in our ability to unlearn, relearn and change that holds the success to all of our creative futures.

Anna Wintour nominated Patrick for the Stella McCartney Today for Tomorrow Award in November 2019.

He has recently spoken at the United Nations about sustainability in fashion.

"My exclusive collection for Hit&Run was inspired by the experiences in life that shaped me; my Catholic upbringing in Liverpool, the trends and culture of Y2K and early noughties, and of course the LGBTQ+ community, which I am a proud member of. I wanted to celebrate all of these cultures and reimagine them to create modern day iconography. Some of them come with a dose of irony, but each of the pieces help tell my story, and a story of modern times. As Hit&Run is made to order and organic, it's been a great opportunity to create a range at prices that more people can enjoy, with a lower impact on the planet "
