Emily Moore

Emily Moore has defined her own term ‘wildness’ in contemporary painting. Her visual language is a nucleus of extended ideas, philosophies and lived experiences–systems that cross-pollinate one another whilst coexisting and thriving. Moore works with paint on canvas, yarn and weaving, installation, play and performance, and her approach to all these mediums is rooted in the idea of exploration. The constant thread that runs through her studio practice is a maker’s spirit; a constant evolution of reactive gestural mark making through different materials and mediums.
