Daisy Parris

Daisy Parris created two paintings which appear here on garments. Parris’ bold and deeply saturated strokes build to create works that exude energy and aggression. Inspired by her own experiences, they are a visceral response to everyday life, documenting gut feelings, things found on the street, thoughts and memories. Words play a vital role in her work. Parris plays with their weight and their context, often distorting their meaning, to give her paintings the feel of aggravated poetry.
